3.3.17.3. Installation коленвала ENGINES of SERIES XU and XUD

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Using engine oil, establish the top persistent half rings from each party of the radical bearing №2, and lubricant flutes should be directed to коленвалу.

2. Establish loose leaves of bearings on the places. Grease a working surface of the loose leaf with pure engine oil. For correct installation of the bottom loose leaf combine a ledge on the loose leaf with a groove on a cover (marksman).

3. Establish коленвал in the block of cylinders so that radical necks of 2nd and 3rd cylinders were in ВМТ. Check up an axial backlash коленвала.

4. Grease the bottom loose leaves in covers of radical bearings with pure engine oil and check up that ledges on loose leaves are in cover grooves.

5. Establish covers of radical bearings about 2nd on 5th and screw them, without tightening.

6. Apply a thin film hermetic on an interfaced surface of the block of cylinders with a cover of the first bearing.

7. Establish consolidation from two parties in a groove of a cover of the bearing №1.

8. At installation of a cover for protection of consolidation against displacement it is necessary to use two metal strips in the thickness of 0,25 mm.

9. Grease both parties of metal strips with engine oil and fix them on consolidation. Establish a bearing cover № 1, insert into it bolts and screw up their hand then flat-nose pliers pull out metal strips.

10. Gradually and consistently tighten bolts of fastening of covers of bearings the demanded moment. Using a sharp knife, cut off the consolidation ends so that they acted over a surface of the block of cylinders approximately on 1 mm.
11. On petrol engines in volume of 1.6 and 1.8 litres establish forward and back covers of bearings and tighten bolts the demanded moment.
12. Establish a new sealing ring on a back part коленвала.
13. Establish pistons with rods.
14. Establish segment шпонку and a leading asterisk of the oil pump with a lining. Establish a chain of a drive of the oil pump on an asterisk.
15. Check up that surfaces of interface of a forward cover and the block of cylinders pure and dry.
16. Apply a thin film hermetic on a surface of interface of a cover of forward consolidation and screw its bolts. Establish a new forward sealing ring on коленвал. Check up a chain arrangement on an asterisk коленвала, establish the oil pump and the pallet.
17. If the head of the block of cylinders establish it has been removed.
