3.2.13. Removal and installation of a head of the block of cylinders (engines of 1.9 litres)
THE GENERAL DATA
The prevention

On engines of 2.1 litres, because of the limited access to a motor compartment, for removal of a head of the block of cylinders it is necessary to remove the engine.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative plug from the accumulator.
2. Merge cooling liquid from cooling system.
3. Remove inlet and final collectors. Alternatively remove an inlet collector, unscrew fastening of a final collector and disconnect it from a head. In this case the final collector can remain on a place together with турбокомпрессором.
4. Remove inlet and final collectors. Alternatively remove an inlet collector, unscrew fastening of a final collector and disconnect it from a head. In this case the final collector can remain on a place together with турбокомпрессором.
5. Fix a collector with турбокомпрессором in appropriate way. Thus do not suppose deformation of the tube bringing oil to турбокомпрессору.
6. Disconnect and remove hoses of return of fuel from fuel atomizers.
7. Disconnect pipelines of giving of fuel from fuel atomizers and the fuel pump of a high pressure and remove pipelines.
8. Unscrew a nut of fastening and remove a wire of a food of a candle накаливания.
9. Remove a hose of a cooling liquid from the back left end of a head of the block of cylinders.
10. Disconnect a small hose of a cooling liquid from the forward end of a head of the block of cylinders from outside a gear belt.
11. Take a fuel returnable hose from suspension brackets on a head of the block of cylinders and displace aside.
12. Remove a cable of an accelerator from the fuel pump of a high pressure.
13. Remove the case of the fuel filter / of the thermostat.
14. Unscrew a nut or a rack of fastening of a suspension bracket of a hose of a cooling liquid and move a suspension bracket to the end of a head of the block of cylinders.
15. Remove a camshaft pulley.
16. Remove the mechanism of a tension of a gear belt and the right engine mount.
17. Remove directing roller of a gear belt.
18. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of a forward plate of the engine to a suspension bracket of installation of the fuel pump of a high pressure.
19. Unscrew a nut and a bolt of fastening of a suspension bracket of the generator and the fuel pump of a high pressure and remove a forward plate of the engine.
20. Gradually unscrew bolts крпепления heads of the block of cylinders in an order, the return shown on fig. Sequence of a tightening of bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders.
21. Take bolts together with washers.
22. For branch of a head from the block of cylinders establish in apertures under bolts two steel cores bent at right angle and, pressing them upwards and downwards, separate a head from the block of cylinders. Do not separate a head from the block of cylinders, inserting between interfaced surfaces the lever since it can damage a lining and interfaced surfaces on a head and the block of cylinders.
23. Remove a head from the block of cylinders and a lining.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn коленвал clockwise before installation of all pistons in the middle of a piston stroke.
2. Establish a demanded lining on the block of cylinders with cuts from outside a flywheel. Check up that the directing pin is established into place.
3. Establish a head on the block of cylinders.
4. Process a carving part of bolts and the basis of heads of bolts means Molykote G Rapid Plus.
5. Establish bolts with washers in a head and screw in them.
6. Gradually and consistently tighten bolts the demanded moment (a stage 1; fig. Sequence of a tightening of bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders) see.
7. Repeatedly tighten bolts the demanded moment (a stage 2).
8. Tighten bolts on a demanded corner. The further installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
