12.29. The central console

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Shift forward seats against the stop forward and unscrew from the left and right back parties screws of fastening of the central console.
2. Shift sitting lobbies against the stop back and remove the negative plug from the accumulator.
3. Open an ashtray cover, move it forward and take an ashtray from the central console.
4. Shift the ashtray case forward and take it from the central console.
5. Disconnect from the ashtray case an electric socket.
6. Through a window for ashtray installation unscrew screws, крепящие the left and right wings to the central console.
7. Separate a forward part of the left and right wings of the central console and remove them.
8. On cars with a mechanical transmission remove a protective cover of the lever of a gear change.
9. On cars with an automatic transmission remove the button from the top part of the lever of a choice of transfers.
10. On all models remove a decorative cover of the lever of a manual brake from the top part of the central console.
11. At presence remove armrests of forward seats.
12. Unscrew 2 nuts (are specified by arrows) fastenings of a forward part of the central console to a floor.
13. Disconnect tubes of giving of air from a heater, raise a back part of the central console and disconnect electric sockets.
14. Disconnect an electric socket from прикуривателя (a photo at the left) and remove the central console (a photo on the right).
15. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
