In each vortical chamber the candle накаливания is established. Candles накаливания are used at start of the cold engine. Pressure giving to candles накаливания copes a timer in a combination to the diesel electronic control device of system of injection (ECU).
On some models of a candle накаливания remain included during some period after engine start, i.e. after deenergizing of a starter of a candle накаливания work within 3 minutes. Work of candles накаливания cannot be interrupted within the first 15 seconds, but further they can be disconnected at:
– Pressing of a pedal of an accelerator more than on 11 mm at duration of pressing more than 2,5 seconds;
– To temperature of a cooling liquid more than 60 With.
The control lamp in a combination of devices burns at work of candles накаливания. After deenergizing of a lamp the engine can be started. Pressure to candles накаливания moves in a current of several seconds after deenergizing of a control lamp. If does not become attempts to start the engine after lamp deenergizing, the timer disconnects pressure from candles накаливания to avoid a discharge of the accumulator and an overheat of candles накаливания.

| 1. Connect the voltmeter between feeding tyre of candles накаливания and the earth. Include ignition and check up that pressure to candles moves in a corresponding interval of time. |
| 2. At temperature of air 20 About time intervals of giving of pressure to candles накаливания should be 5–6 seconds at which the control lamp burns, and 10 seconds after the control lamp will be switched off. Time of burning of a control lamp increases at lower temperatures and decreases at rise in temperature. |
| 3. If pressure moves to candles накаливания, means, the relay and electroconducting are serviceable. |
| 4. For detection of a defective candle накаливания remove system of pipes of an air inlet and disconnect a ventilation hose картера from маслозаливной mouths. Disconnect the main feeding wire and the connecting tyre from свеч накаливания. |
| 5. Using a tester (ohmmeter), check up integrity of candles накаливания, checking resistance between contact in the top part of a candle and the candle case. Resistance of a candle накаливания is less 1 Ohm; if the big resistance, a candle накаливания shows a tester is faulty. |
