5.2.18. Турбонагнетатель
THE GENERAL DATA

Турбонагнетатель it is established on all diesel engines. It increases capacity of the engine at the expense of pressure increase in an inlet collector above the atmospheric.

The drive турбонагнетателя is carried out by exhaust gases. Exhaust gas, passing through турбонагнетатель, disperses to high turns the turbine which is located on a shaft on which other end the compressor is established. The compressor, rotating in own casing, compresses air on a way to an inlet collector.

Between турбонагнетателем and a final collector the compressed air passes through a refrigerator. It is the heat exchanger of type "air-air" established before a radiator and cooled by counter air and electric fans of a radiator. The refrigerator problem consists in lowering temperature of air which has increased at compression of air by the compressor.


The prevention

Турбонагнетатель works at extremely high speeds and temperatures. Do not use турбонагнетатель at removed any part or a hose. The extraneous particles getting on rotating blades, can damage турбонагнетатель.

Do not increase engine turns at once after start, especially on the cold engine. It is necessary to wait at least some seconds for maintenance of normal circulation of oil.

Give the chance to the engine to work in a mode of idling within several minutes before deenergizing after engine work on high turns.

For engine greasing use only oil of the recommended quality.
