3.1.8. The mechanism of a tension of a gear belt and pulleys Removal

CAMSHAFT PULLEYS

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the negative plug of the accumulator. 2. Combine adjusting apertures on pulleys of distributive and cranked shaft with apertures on the engine and fix pulleys cores. Models of the engine in volume of 1.6 litres 3. Remove the top casing of a gear belt. 4. Ослабьте a pulley of the mechanism of a tension of a gear belt, turning a pulley a corresponding key of the square section established in a nave of a pulley, in a direction clockwise, and repeatedly tighten a bolt of fastening of a pulley. 5. Remove blocking core from a cam-shaft pulley. Remove a gear belt from a cam-shaft pulley. 6. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cam-shaft. For prevention of rotation of a cam-shaft at bolt unscrewing it is necessary to fix a pulley from проворачивания the special tool. 7. Remove a pulley from a cam-shaft. Models of the engine of 1.8 and 2.0 litres 8. Remove the top and bottom casings of a gear belt. 9. If necessary shift a plait of wires. 10. Support the engine a jack and remove the right engine mount. 11. Ослабьте a bolt of fastening of the mechanism of a tension of a back branch of a belt for what turn a pulley clockwise. 12. Check up that adjusting cores are in an aperture of pulleys. Remove a gear belt from cam-shaft pulleys. 13. If pulleys leave without naves, unscrew three bolts of fastening and remove a pulley. 14. If pulleys have to act in film with naves unscrew the central bolt of fastening of a nave. For prevention of rotation of a pulley of a cam-shaft it is necessary to use the special tool. 15. Unscrew three bolts of fastening of a pulley and remove a pulley from a nave. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of a nave and remove a nave. Pay attention that naves are noted for identification in figure on a face sheet. On models of engines of 1.8 litres the nave of the cam-shaft operating inlet valves, is noted by figure "1", and the nave of a cam-shaft operating final valves, is noted by figure "2". On models of engines of 2.0 litres the nave of the cam-shaft operating inlet valves, is noted by figure "3", and the nave of a cam-shaft operating final valves, is noted by figure "4".

Check up consolidation коленвала on tightness and, if necessary, replace it. Models of the engine of 1.8 and 2.0 litres 7. Remove the top and bottom casings of a gear belt. 8. If necessary shift a plait of wires. 9. Support the engine a jack and remove the right engine mount. 10. Ослабьте a bolt of fastening of the mechanism of a tension of a back branch of a belt for what turn a pulley clockwise. 11. Check up that adjusting cores are established in pulleys of cam-shafts. Remove a gear belt from a pulley коленвала, then remove a pulley with коленвала together with шпонкой. 12. Check up consolidation коленвала on tightness and, if necessary, replace it.

PULLEYS OF THE MECHANISM OF THE TENSION AND SINGLE PULLEYS

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the negative plug of the accumulator. 2. Combine adjusting apertures on pulleys of distributive and cranked shaft with apertures on the engine and fix pulleys cores. Models of the engine of 1.6 litres 3. Remove top and, at necessity, central casings of a gear belt. 4. Unscrew a bolt of fastening and remove a pulley of the mechanism of a tension of a gear belt. Check up a condition of details of the mechanism of a tension and, if necessary, replace them. Models 1.8 and 2.0 litres 5. Remove the top and bottom casings of a gear belt. 6. If necessary move a plait of wires for access improvement to the tension mechanism. 7. Support the engine a jack and remove the right support of the engine. 8. Ослабьте a bolt of fastening of a pulley of the mechanism of a tension of a back branch of a gear belt and, using the key of square section established in a nave of a pulley, turn a pulley clockwise and repeatedly tighten a fastening bolt. 9. Check up that blocking cores are in adjusting apertures of pulleys of camshafts and remove from pulleys a gear belt. 10. Unscrew bolts of fastening of the mechanism of a tension and a single pulley and remove them.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Clear all pulleys and check up them on deterioration signs. 2. At clearing of pulleys of the mechanism of a tension it is impossible to use solvents which can get to bearings of a pulley and put them out of action. Pulleys should rotate easily, without jammings and люфта.

Installation

CAMSHAFT PULLEYS

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Models of the engine in volume of 1.6 litres 1. Establish a reference point of an arrangement from the back party of a pulley. Establish a pulley on a cam-shaft so that the arrangement reference point was combined with a camshaft. 2. Screw up a bolt of fastening of a pulley. For fixing of a pulley from проворачивания use the special tool of fixing of a pulley. 3. Combine an aperture in a pulley of a cam-shaft with an aperture of a head and establish blocking core. Check up that the adjusting core also blocks a pulley of a cranked shaft. 4. Establish a gear belt. 5. Pull a gear belt. 6. Establish casings of a gear belt. Models of the engine of 1.8 and 2.0 litres 7. If pulleys and naves acted in film, establish a nave on a cam-shaft according to marks of identification of a nave. 8. Screw up a bolt of fastening of a nave the demanded moment. Temporarily establish pulleys on a nave. 9. Turn a nave so that it was possible to establish a blocking core in an aperture of a pulley of a head of the block of cylinders. 10. If pulleys acted in film only, establish pulleys and screw their three bolts. 11. Establish and pull a gear belt.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Models of the engine in volume of 1.6 litres 1. Establish a lining and segment шпонку in a groove коленвала. 2. Establish a pulley коленвала, combining a groove on a pulley with segment шпонкой. 3. Check up that the adjusting core still blocks a cam-shaft pulley. Temporarily establish a pulley of an auxiliary belt on коленвал and insert through it an adjusting core to check up correctness of an arrangement коленвала. 4. Remove a pulley of an auxiliary belt with коленвала. Establish a gear belt on a pulley коленвала, a pulley of the water pump and a pulley of the mechanism of a tension. 5. Pull a gear belt. 6. Establish casings of a gear belt. 7. Establish a pulley of an auxiliary belt on коленвал. Connect the negative plug to the accumulator. Models of the engine of 1.8 and 2.0 litres 8. Establish segment шпонку in a groove коленвала. 9. Establish a pulley коленвала, combining a groove on a pulley with segment шпонкой. 10. Establish and adjust a tension of a gear belt.

Litre models 1.6 1. Establish a pulley of the mechanism of a tension and screw in a fastening bolt, without tightening it. 2. Check up that the forward branch of a belt is tense. Turn a pulley of the mechanism of a tension counter-clockwise to choose all backlash between a pulley and a gear belt. 3. Adjust a tension of a gear belt. 4. Establish protective casings of a gear belt. Models of the engine of 1.8 and 2.0 litres 5. Establish the mechanism of a tension and single pulleys and fix their bolts. 6. Establish a gear belt and adjust its tension.
